NATIONAL ADOPTION DAY!

November 17, 2007

We are so thankful to be able to celebrate this day! Who could have ever imagined it?? We thought our family was complete with our two wonderful bio children, but God had other plans. Our lives have changed tremendously since adding these two little girls to our family. We’re broke, tired and overwhelmed! LOL I am amazed that God has blessed us in this way, and I will be eternally thankful to Him for trusting us with the lives of DD and DB. Of course the truth of the matter is that we are trusting Him for guidance and direction in raising them.
You might think that we would celebrate this day by eating at a nice Chinese food restaurant, but oh no, not this time. The girls both love Mexican food, so we took this opportunity to expand their multicultural awareness and enjoyed a great meal at a local Mexican food place. Love that Salsa and Queso!!! We’ll use any excuse for good Mexican food. LOL

Good Morning Darling family!
What a fun way to celebrate.

We love Mexican food here too. We let LMF choose where we were going dinner for Saturday night, unbelievably she chose Pei Wei. I think she chose it because she knew that I had lunch there the day before with a friend and she was upset she wasn't invited.

I love it that your tree is up and already decorated. Did you take any pictures of them helping decorate it? LMF decided 2 weeks ago to put up her litle one after we went to the deocrator's warehouse to get a new garland for the front door.

Happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful we met you!!

Happy Adoption Day!! Unfortunately we were at the hospital all day with a family. I completely forgot about this. Well, adoption sure has blessed our lives. I love the quotes you added!!

It is amazing how much the girls have changed in such a short time. We are looking forward to seeing all of you for Thanksgiving. The Lord has indeed blessed our family with adoptions. I can't imagine what our life would be like without the adopted children in our immediate family! Love, Aunt Muh
