SUMMER FUN HAS BEGUN!

The girls met with their play group on Friday for a day of fun at the fountains! With temperatures already in the mid-nineties, this was the perfect activity for the day.
Taking a little time out for sunbathing and drying off before heading to McD's for lunchSaturday was also very hot. It's obvious that Doodlebug had rather be back at the fountains than
playing at this hot Blast Ball game.
Playing out in the heat like this has definitely got to be a "boy thing."You'll have to admit that she looks quite cute in her cool sunglasses. She refused to wear her baseball cap because it covered her piggytails..."always putting fashion before practicality."
Then, it was back in the water Sunday afternoon at Desheng Darling's end-of-the-season T-ball party...
This is the life!

Yum!!! Nothing says "summer" better than a nice cold strawberry snow cone!

We haven't even "dawned" our bathing suits yet. We are hopefully headed to the beach next week, if we can get away from the shop. LOVE all the swimming pictures!

Looks like everyone was having fun in the water--it did look inviting. Congradulations, DD,on your baptism. Would have loved to have seen it, but things don't always go as we would like them. Love you! Aunt Muhl

We too wish SO much that we all were closer. If only our country were like a puzzle where we could rearrange the pieces when we wanted to. I'd move us closer to you in about February. I bet you'd come north in August since you are already in the mid-nineties, YIKES!

The girls look like they had SUCH fun in the fountains, a perfect hot weather activity. I sure wish LL had so many playmates like DB and DD. They are truly blessed!
