Doodlebug has always been a girl who loved her jewels! LOL
For the past few days she’s worn plastic “stick-on” earrings. Sometimes she managed to stick them on her earlobes, but at other times I found them just millimeters from the opening of her ear. I was so afraid that they might come loose and end up somewhere down in her ear canal.
DD and DB have both discussed getting their ears pierced. DB has always looked at it as a pretty “cool” thing to do, but DD has never really bought into the idea of having a hole punched in her earlobe no matter how shiny the stone. But today, they decided to do it "TOGETHER."

Here’s DD observing the finished product…Just moments before informing us that she wasn’t the least bit interested in completing this group project. LOL

Oh Boy! A big moment indeed. It does take alot of bravery, and a little unknowing of the reality helps too! I can see why DD was more apprehensive. Perhaps when she sees how all goes with DB, she'll give it a go. Otherwise, it's a nice way for them to express their individuality. I love the photos, they sure speak a million words!
I am so proud of D.B. S.G. feels just like D.D. She's just not so sure about having holes poked in her ears. I am going to show her these pictures though, and see what she says. I can't believe D.B. didn't cry. Brave girl.
Yeah DB!!! I hope that we were not a bad infulence in the ear piercing. I looks like you had them done at the same place we did!
Wow! So proud of DB!! Way to go DD for not giving in to peer pressure. =)
She looks so proud of herself!!!
DB I can hardly wait to se you with first pair of dangling hoops!! Maybe Santa will bring you some "real' diamonds this year. Hang in there DD. Aunt Muhl was past 30 before she had hers done. See you soon. Love you all. Aunt Muhl
funny! We made H wait until she was 4 for the BIG day! Now A - almost 12 months younger - AHEM!- is wanting to have her ears done for the BIG OH---- THREE. We are praying about whether or not she is up for this venture! Sweet blessings!
