We have really been blessed with RAIN! The weeds, trees and grass love it, but DD has been climbing the walls. She is a very active little girl and staying inside with her for several days in a row has had me climbing the walls!!! Not a pretty sight.
The solution was quite simple…Just let her play in the rain! She had so much fun. What is it about splashing in puddles that is so thrilling for kids? It’s good, cheap, entertainment!
This cute umbrella was a gift from our very special friends, Pat and Jen. It works great but…
She still managed to get totally soaked! What fun!!!

Love the umbrella!! You can see by the look on D.D.'s face that she was having a ball. We took S.G. to Snowbunny's house last night while D.S. and I went on a much needed date. They got to play in the rain too.
I wanted to give you a break since I call you to watch S.G. so much.

Oh, the simple life! Isn't it great how little it takes to entertain a little one? It's hard to tell which is cutest, the bug umbrella or the cute little lady bug under it. Aunt Muh

Tonight was the last night of family night at chic... There were some kids from preschool there. S.G. played her heart out...thank goodness!!
